Herren Globus is with 22 stores one of the biggest upscale department stores for menswear in Switzerland.
Since 2009 the company has been undergoing an architectural redesign of their store interiors in an effort
to enhance the shopping experience. For the brand new Herren Globus concept store in St. Gallen, End of Spring
developed a timeless retail graphics concept that reflects the personal and homelike feel of the new store
architecture. A combination of historical photographs featuring dressed up men posing for family portraits
and hand-drawn in-store signage contrast the contemporary interior design and add a personal touch.
The project was conceived in close collaboration with the Globus architecture department and executed from
conception phase through final production by End Of Spring. End Of Spring has since applied the individual
graphics to another six stores throughout the country.(Store photography by: R. Steck, Zollikon/N. Boesch)

Elaborating on the concept established in the brand's St. Gallen store (2009), at this branch a wallpaper mural
draws attention with an artistic historical portrait of a local politician posing at the pool of a school located in
the neighborhood. Additionally, the loft-like business floor is featuring aluminum panels with photographs telling
stories on the topic of the industrialization of Wallisellen. End Of Spring discovered these photos while searching
the historical archive of the local town museum. Historical photographs: Archive Ortsmuseum Wallisellen.

Concept and design of retail graphics for the newly renovated Herren Globus store at Zürich airport. Based on
the concept of historical photography themes that have a relationship to the respective store location, the design
consists of a number of photos from the archive of Switzerland's former national airline. As all of End Of Spring's
retail graphics projects for Herren Globus, this one too has been conceived in close collaboration with the
Globus architecture department. Photographs: ETH-Bibliothek Zurich and Ruderclub Thalwil. Herren Globus

For Herren Globus in the picturesque city of Lucerne End Of Spring searched several photography archives
for Lucerne related themes. Finally two walls with wallpaper murals as well as aluminum panels are featuring
unique photographs (1900 - 1925) of captains and ship's crews belonging to the fleet of Lake Lucerne. Just as in
an art exhibit each of the photography pieces is enhanced by some descriptive information. The project was
conceived in close collaboration with the Globus architecture department and executed from conception phase
through final production by End Of Spring. Photographs: Archive Josef Gwerder, Meggen.

Elaborating on the concept established in the brand's St. Gallen store, Herren Globus Zug reopened in Spring
of 2011. The interior graphics feature photographs of charismatic postman, photographer and inventor
Eduard Rogenmoser (1885 – 1948). A wallpaper mural with a manly self-portrait of Rogenmoser reaching over
two floors is making the main attraction. Freestanding panels, which also serve as shelves, are featuring three
images of a series of glass slides Rogenmoser took on the daily life of the working class in his hometown
Oberägeri, Canton Zug. Photographs: Archive Kantonale Denkmalpflege Zug.

Herren Globus' Baden branch underwent an interior redesign in 2011. End Of Spring was challenged to find
historical photography material which has a relationship to the small town of Baden and works well as lasting
wall installation complementing the contemporary overall design of the store space. A picture from 1952
featuring Baden based BBC (today ABB) employees posing in front of a transformer they produced in the old
Trafo Factory was just the perfect find. The project was conceived in close collaboration with the Globus
architecture department and executed from conception phase through final production by End Of Spring.
